Upon the sudden loss of her mother in 2015, T'Keyah took to therapy — but found that no one who filled those spaces looked like her. She decided to lead her own path and embarked on the journey of affirming Black women and women of color in their pain — which in turn assisted her with her own healing. Her passion for mental health awareness and healing within the Black community is a passion that simply cannot be taught. refresHER. is luxury wellness; a spiritual haus that is ACCESSIBLE, in arms reach and the people in this space are deserving of it. It was birthed to shift the narrative and stigma regarding mental health and wellness and asserting Black women in the conversation and space is a very specific and divine mission.

As the founder of refresHER. LLC, it is extremely important to her to continue to nourish spaces for women of color to heal without judgement. In 2020, she graduated from the Mystic Living School based in LA, where she completed her certification as an Energy Healer Practitioner and also received Advanced Reiki Training in Reiki I, Reiki II, Reiki III and Master Teacher Level of the Usui System of Healing. She currently holds carefully, curated sessions; offering 1:1 personal healing, corporate wellness sessions (clients including Soho House, Gatorade, Propel Water and more) + group meditations & her signature; sound baths.

T’Keyah is a creative space holder, gifted guide and community builder, integrating all of her love affairs together, to create a revolution.
